Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and working with them brings me endless joy. My journey into dog training truly began when I met Brian and witnessed the Top Tails System in action—it was like magic. Seeing even the most challenging dogs transform, or a young puppy set on the path to a lifetime of happy obedience, was incredibly inspiring.

It breaks my heart when owners struggle to communicate with their dogs, and I’m passionate about helping them build stronger, more understanding relationships. Through positive, practical training, my goal is to help every dog and their person live in harmony.

I work with throughout Crieff and Auchterarder, and I’m thrilled to be part of a team that changes lives—one paw at a time.
Kirsten & Susan
Kirsten – Trainer at Top Tails Training
Hi, I’m Kirsten. I’ve always had a strong interest in working with animals, and that passion became hands-on experience when I brought home my Great Dane, Susan Boyle, at 12 weeks old. I trained her independently from November 2022 through to January 2023, building a solid foundation before continuing her progress with Brian at Top Tails. Susan is now thriving and currently in training to become a therapy dog.

After seeing the progress I’d made and my commitment to consistent, structured training, I was invited to join the Top Tails team as a trainer. The Top Tails methodology is a highly effective, results-driven system built on positive reinforcement and real-world application. It has a proven track record of transforming even the most challenging dogs into well-mannered companions, and setting puppies up for a lifetime of success.
I’m proud to be part of a team consistently delivering exceptional results for dogs and their owners. I’m also committed to expanding my knowledge of canine behaviour to further strengthen the impact of the Top Tails approach.
I work with clients across St Ninians and Raploch.
Danny
I specialise in dog boarding, walking, and therapy dog training as part of the Top Tails team. With over 15 years of experience working primarily with adults on the autism spectrum, I bring a unique understanding of both human and canine behaviour to my role. I apply Brian’s Top Tails methodology with a focus on trust-building, positive reinforcement, and tailored developmental strategies that support long-term success.

My strength lies in creating calm, structured environments where therapy dogs can build confidence and form meaningful connections with the individuals they’re meant to support. As a boarder within the Top Tails system, I provide dogs with a home-like setting where they receive both consistent training and compassionate care.

I’m committed to each dog’s well-being and development, and take pride in delivering results that make a real difference in people’s lives.
